The Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit Association, Inc. (AFPMBAI) donated PhP 1,500,000.00 to the AFP Educational Benefit System Office (AFPEBSO) in a ceremonial turnover held yesterday.
CDR DWIGHT STEVEN M DULNOAN PN(GSC), Chief/General Manager of AFPEBSO together with MAJ ANDY LAWRENCE C ACAPULCO (FS) PA, Finance Manager received the check from MGEN EDGARDO RENE C SAMONTE AFP (RET), President and CEO of AFPMBAI and RADM Philip L Cacayan AFP (Ret), OIC of Corporate Service Office.
The agreement between the AFPEBSO and AFPMBAI started in School Year 2008-2009. This has since aided in the education of the dependents of our soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Currently, the AFPEBS-AFPMBAI Educational Benefit Program is supporting sixteen (16) continuing grantees for School Year 2016-2017 and had since helped forty-nine (49) grantees to graduate College.
The AFPEBSO would like to thank the AFPMBAI for being one of our committed partners in providing educational assistance to the dependents of our fallen comrades. Through their help, our grantees were able to survive another school year, thereby bringing them closer to the realization of their dreams.
The AFPEBSO takes confidence from AFPMBAI’s unwavering generosity, which is sure to keep our partnership ever growing for the disadvantaged children of Filipino soldiers.
