The National University (NU) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the AFP Educational Benefit System (AFPEBS) last June 3, 2016, giving scholarship slots to dependents of our brave soldiers.
Mr. Teodoro Jhocson-Ocampo, President of NU signed the MOA with COL GENARO C MENOR PAF (GSC), Chief/General Manager of AFP Educational Benefit System Office (AFPEBSO).
The Manila-based University has agreed to offer one scholarship slot covering 100% free tuition and miscellaneous fees in any undergraduate course for dependents of combat casualties.
Unlimited slots covering 25% tuition discount were also given to dependents of non-battle casualties, discharged due to non-combat activities, and active soldiers. The scholarship grants will apply to those enrolled in any under undergraduate course offered by NU.
The scholarship slots will be annually granted to successful applicants who will be processed by AFPEBSO.
The AFPEBSO extends its gratitude to NU for being one of its new partners and for joining in its commitment of “leaving no soldier’s orphan behind”.
