The AFP Educational Benefit System Office (AFPEBSO) has partnered with La Salle College Antipolo (LSCA) to provide scholarship slots to dependents of both active military personnel and soldiers killed in action (KIA) or in line of duty.
The LSCA is offering five (5) scholarship slots (two in Senior High School and three in College) covering 100% free tuition fees to dependents of soldiers who were KIA or completely discharged due to combat or non-combat activities.
The AFP Educational Benefit System (AFPEBS) – LSCA Educational Benefit Program Memorandum of Agreement was already signed by Brother Victor Franco, President of LSCA and is set to be finalized before the next school year starts.
AFPEBSO led by COL GENARO C MENOR, Chief/General Manager met with the LSCA Scholarship Committee to discuss the partnership last May 9, 2016.
LSCA is also offering five (5) slots under the Grant-In-Aid scholarship scheme in the College Unit for dependents of Active Military Personnel; and 25% discount for dependents of Active Military Personnel who will take up Bachelor of Education.
The partnership was a result of AFPEBSO’s persistent efforts in conducting scholarship generation activities to help more military dependents in their education.
Interested applicants may submit their requirements to the AFPEBSO at Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City (near Gate 6). They may also call the office at these numbers: 0917-507-6617 (Globe), 0999-993-3376 (Smart), 0932-843-5446 (Sun).
