The AFP Educational Benefit System Office (AFPEBSO) has partnered with the Albano Bar Review Center (ABRC) to help its scholars lessen their review expenses.
The Assistant General Manager of AFPEBSO, LTC LAWRENCE C ANINAG (OS) PA along with other staff met with the Dean of ABRC, Atty. Ed Vincent S. Albano yesterday (February 3) to talk about the partnership.
A Memorandum of Agreement was initially signed by Atty. Albano to provide 50% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees to qualified active military personnel, their dependents, and dependents of battle casualty soldiers.
The ABRC is willing to provide unlimited slots to grantees nationwide. The review site is at the Mariner’s Home in Malate, Manila. It also has provincial branches in Baguio City, Davao City, and General Santos City.
The review center is open to Law graduates as well as to undergraduates who wish to enhance their knowledge of the Law. Among the services included in the program are mock exams; special lectures on all subjects one month before the actual bar exams; pre-week lectures; last minute lectures; and free handouts.
The partnership was welcomed by the AFPEBSO Management as another milestone in its commitment of helping soldiers and their dependents achieve a brighter future.
The Management is now in the process of finalizing the agreement to officially launch and promote the review program.
