CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines Educational Benefit System (AFPEBS) gained new partner schools in the Bicol Region following a series of scholarship generation activities and signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) this week.
The AFPEBS entered into a MOA with Microsystems School Foundation, Inc. and Our Lady of Lourdes College Foundation, Inc. in Daet, Camarines Norte; Ceguera Technological Institute in Naga City, Camarines Sur, and Bicol College in Legaspi City, Albay from May 20-22, 2015. These schools will add to the more than 10 existing partners of the AFPEBS in the Bicol Region area.
A team from the AFP Educational Benefit System Office (AFPEBSO), headed by its Chief/General Manager, LTC Genaro C Menor facilitated the ceremonial signing in the respective schools.
The team also met with the school officials of the Aquinas University of Legazpi in Albay who initially agreed to provide three scholarship slots in college for qualified applicants.
The AFPEBSO is continuously looking for prospective partners around the country to gain wider support in its goal of providing assistance to military dependent’s educational needs.
